Aquapark at the Hotel & SPA Kocierz is the first and only swimming pond of that type in Poland and in the central and eastern Europe, built at such high altitude (750 metres above sea level), with the use of the most modern and most ecological technologies. 

Aquapark Kocierz is a natural swimming pond, where the water is being purified biologically and not chemically (without the use of chlorine and ozone). The conventional technology of water purification with the use of chlorine is replaced here by an ecological system, which biologically purifies the water. The heart of the system is a biological filter, which supplies the swimming pool with water of drinking quality, with parameters matching the parameters of water from the mountains. The system was built using 900 tons of aggregate and 2 thousand specially selected plants. The used water coming from the swimming pool is freely taken via the installed drainage to an underground pipe system, which takes the polluted water to the filters. On its way through the filters, the water gets purified and then reaches the regeneration reservoir, where it undergoes „a renewal”. It all happens thanks to gravitation and without the use of mechanical energy. The regeneration area comprises of two parts. In the first section, the water flows through the drainage which takes it to a reservoir filled with special aggregate, where the water soaks through the aggregate and gets cleaned and in addition regains its former qualities. With the help of gravity the water then reaches the second regeneration area, which is covered with plants. The plants naturally filter the water, using human friendly bacteria and the special mixture of aggregates.  

The water quality at Kocierz Aquapark is the same as the water quality in the Bavarian lakes in the Alps. The same, 20-thousand year old, natural water purification system is now used at Kocierz. 

The Kocierz Aquapark is the main swimming pool, which is divided into a shallow area for children and the people who cannot swim, where the water is between 0.2 m do 0.4 m deep, and the main swimming area, where the depth of the pool gradually increases, and in the deepest part reaches 2 m.  There is also a paddling pool near the two slides and a regeneration area, where swimming is prohibited. Baciarska Chata is nearby and guarantees dining facilities for the guests of the Aquapark.
